The yearly published calendar, December 13, 2006

I have enjoyed receiving the little calendar every year. I have kept copies of it for many years. However, this year I missed the copy with the calendar in it. I especially enjoyed the artist Erik Blegvad. I have enlarged some of the pictures in his works, including the bible verses, and framed them. However, I liked the work of the artist who started doing the calendar for Women's Day.

I used to receive a lot of different magazines but have found Woman's Day to be the only one that really impacts my life. I read it cover to cover and savor the information. From shopping advice to recipes I actually make, it offers such creativity. I made the apple pie on the cover and the sweet and sour Italian chicken in the September 12th issue and my family raved about it. Even the scripture is meaningful to me and certainly sets Woman's Day apart from the other women's magazines. Thank you for just good journalism that inspires this woman!
