Our collie is very happy we have subscribed and read the whole dog journal since he was as long as his nose is now. Rhythm's breeder advised us to subscribe and provided a few issues for us to get started with collie care. Since then, we've abided by their counsel for food choices, for training choices, for health choices (titer tests, spreading vaccines over a period of time rather than all at one visit), and for general advice. Thankfully, we now have a wonderful mature dog with a playful, gentle, loving personality that we didn't screw up with the wrong types of training or care. You have coached us well and we are so grateful for your articles. Thanks folks.

Do you love dogs .... or are you just someone who likes to have a "paw" on the pulse of the dog world? If you answered yes, then this magazine is for you! The topics in an issue might range from dog food brands to clicker training to the latest in holistic medicine for dogs. It's very cutting edge and absolutely up to date. The staff of WDJ do their research and they do it well. The articles are written to inform but not overwhelm the reader. You won't see glossy puppy pictures that melt your heart instead you will find good solid dog information that will make you a better friend to your dog. And guess what? No ads!
